Learning Together to Share the Gospel

Jesus did not only send out His twelve disciples. He gave them the commission to proclaim the Kingdom of God and minister to people:

“He sent them forth to preach God’s Kingdom and to heal the sick.”
Luke 9:2

But this commission was not limited to the Twelve. A little later, we read that Jesus sent out another 72 people. He sent them out two by two ahead of Him into the places He Himself was about to visit:

“Now after these things, the Lord also appointed seventy others, and sent them two by two ahead of him into every city and place where he was about to come.”
Luke 10:1

After His resurrection, Jesus made it clear that sharing the Gospel was to go far beyond these first mission journeys. His disciples were to go out and reach people from every nation:

“Go and make disciples of all nations.”
Matthew 28:19

This is an important part of our heart for missions. We believe that sharing the Gospel is not reserved for just a few especially gifted people. Many Christians would love to tell others about Jesus but feel that they cannot do it, do not know what to say, or simply lack the confidence to begin.

That is why we do not only want to invite Bible colleges, churches, and teams to come to Poland for mission trips. We want to equip people and help them discover that they, too, can share Jesus with others.

For us, training and practical experience belong together. We learn how to approach people, listen to them, communicate our faith in a way they can understand, and pray for them. At the same time, we want to learn to recognize and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, rather than seeing evangelism simply as a method we have learned.

A mission trip with us is about more than training and practical evangelism. We also want our teams to experience Poland, its people, and its culture. This includes discovering Polish food and learning more about the history of the country and the unique historical heritage of Łódź. In this way, our guests have the opportunity not only to serve in Poland but also to better understand the country and the people they meet.

Our desire is that people return home from a mission trip not only with wonderful memories, but also with a new confidence: “I can share Jesus with people too.”

Because for us, mission does not end in Poland. What people learn and experience here can continue in their church, at work, at school, in their neighborhood, and wherever God brings people across their path.
